Well it was interesting here yesterday
HAL 9000 18th May 2012
We had a reasonable wind which caused a Power Pole to fail and bring the High Voltage Transmission Lines onto the Mains Distribution Grid. So instead of 240 V AC we had 11K Hitting the system and because I had pulled the UPS on the Gateway it was destroyed.

Only took half a day to rebuild it and remove every UPS in the place which had been destroyed but I'm back now and this is a perfect example of why I shouldn't pull any hardware out of service till it fails. wink

Hope everyone is looking forward to a great weekend! Me, well, I will settle for
a "quiet" one, hehe! Sometimes it's nice not to have a lot of excitement.
Got a lot to do already, the town birthday celebration is a week away!
Gumbo anyone? Yep, they talked me into whipping up a couple of batches!
