Yes, you make a good point here. Increasingly companies are using such systems to strip out the bare essentials and getting to the crunch they want to see. For comapnies (like mine) that don't do this now I think we'll see and increasing trend of external recruitmnet agencies being brought in to do such sort and collate work and the systems such entities use will become a distinct selling point.
I suppose this is already really common with larger companies - for medium or SMEs I suppose this trend will continue to grow.
