Among Many Tails
The most recent one, new Fire station going up down the street, they cut the cable line for our general office internet while digging. Took the cable company a few days to figure that out, telling me they are researching. I have back up service so we just limit everyone and work through it. Two weeks later digging on the other side of the street, they take out of of the electric lines, we have three meters into the building and a lost phase means no A/C and one of the circuits is down, of course not the entire building, just the one that our electricians did not wire into the back-up generator, SERVER ROOM. Two hours of batteries later, we had extension cords running across the room. Still waiting for them to fix the problem.
