I was trying to select a popular tech example and Apple unsurprisingly came to mind as it is their slick advertising machine that won them their current place in our tech world.
You see this more in cosmetics. I swear, the numbers get more ridiculous every year...

I wonder - if people are too dumb to get out of the way when a random pratt with a survey tries to stop them from shopping to ask a load of marketing questions do we really want to listen to their opinion and have them be the measure of how good a product is?
