New TV sets had to be compatible with older transmissions. It makes for a great money grab each time a new version of windows is released and you have to buy new software. . Perhaps it should be made illegal to do so if you cannot make it so expensive software is made redundant. It is happening that for no reason then greed Creative Labs have made it difficult to run their hardware unable to fully work with Vista...$385 worth now not working unless I use older software. There is no need. Microsoft is doing the same thing here...Free operating software is starting to sound good!
