Here we go again!
I am MS Certified and all I see here with Windows 8 is: Control...Control...Control. All users should be able to "choose" which OS they prefer to use. After all, wasn't the computer originally designed to enhance productivity? XP was (still is) a great OS. Vista was a fizzle, then Windows 7 definitely climbed the ladder. But now... we have a MESS. You have got to be kidding me. There are still a lot Seniors that are just now learning the concept of WIndows. Many of which are going back to school. MS needs to "think" about designing an interface that is user friendly for "all." And again, allowing users to choose which is going to provide them the maximum productivity, instead of having to jam on the brakes to learn something new.
