Windows 8 not aimed at the Tech Crowd
With all due respect to the TechRepublic crowd, Windows 8 is just not aimed at us. It seems to me that Microsoft built Windows 8 for the home/personal computing and BYOD marketplaces. It won't play well in a business environment because 99% of business apps and web sites currently are not touch enabled. Microsoft wants Windows 8 users to download new touch enabled apps, not to keep using old stuff.
Look, if MS sells Windows and Office to a business desktop user, they have no reason to ever go back to MS again to buy anything. I can tell you MS wants to sell apps from their app store more than anything.
