Deadly Ernest, I think the answer is quite simple, to save money be decreasing overhead associated with managing client-server software, and to increase productivity by providing users with a simple yet intuitive interface - the Chrome OS. Can you explain why a business wouldn't want to go this route? I'm interested in understanding why you think otherwise.
