I've used Pinnacle, Camtasia and a host of others, but my favorite by far is Sony Vegas. There is the consumer version for under $100 and the pro version, about $600. I've only used the consumer version but highly recommend it. The file format support alone is worth the price of admission, but it is also fast and feature rich.
