Apparently this article expects everyone to be using the official phone of the Sheeple,... iPhone. If you have an Android, you'll need to download the SDK kit (Google it) and install it on a PC or Mac to connect to the phone and then take the screenshot using the OS of the computer. (Google prevents screenshot apps from working for security reasons.)
Or, you can root the phone so that 3rd party apps can get around those deep permissions requirements. (Depending on which device... I've heard that the Galaxy S has built-in screenshot capability, but I don't know for sure.)

Hitting home and back together seems to work on a Galaxy with every app I've tried.
You could be lame and take a pic with a camera of your phone/tablet while the drawing it taking place :P
I have taken screen shots with my A500 running ICS of a draw something that my buddy did. I'll definitely send it your way. You would be amazed at how well he can draw, and he is almost 100% blind.
