Can you elaborate on that a little bit? What is the size of your church? What software do they use? Do you happen to what they are paying or paid for it? Also, when you say, "have to money at the upper levels", what does that mean? Our solutions is very affordable. Case in point, our church has about 200 members and this software has proven invaluable and I would consider us a small church.
So about a year ago, I was thinking to myself that my church has no good software for managing members, giving, and attendance. So I began researching packages but all I found were open source packages that had small to no communities, entry level packages that did not do everything I wanted, and large applications that did everything I needed but were too expensive.

So being a software developer, I started a small grassroots software company with my buddy and wrote our own. It has all the features for my current church, plus we researched a couple others like Powerchurch, ACS, and Fellowship One and incorporated a few others.

We then made a listing on Capterra and picked up a few leads. We are currently planning on going to a few conferences this year to show it off and see where it takes us. We are currently marketing a it as a web application it with a small up front fee to set up the site and then a monthly subscription to use the software. We also offer a client version with some advanced features.

I thought I would post a tidbit here to get some feedback and possibly some leads. Your thoughts are well appreciated.
All the big churches have a major database that does all that fro all their churches that also has management information software. The small one location churches don't need such a full blown option, and the very few that are in between don't have the money at the upper levels to justify the expenditure.

Good luck.
