the hardware minimums set out by Microsoft for any OS is about less than half of what you need to make it run at anything but a slow crawl and the RAM usually needs to be about three or four times that set out.

Microsoft say Win 8 needs a 1 Ghz processor with a minimum of 2 GB RAM - - which means you need about a 2 Ghz or better processor with about 6 GB of RAM to have it really work well. Which tablets are offering that level of hardware capability?
