I really want the flexibility of a desktop web browser most of the time; the only exception might be the electronic version of my local newspaper. What is your preference?
Not even a Back button? Who thought that was a good idea?
I'll be putting a Win8 test box together pretty soon and will definitely be using this tip.

(off topic) Speaking of "who thought that was a good idea?" What's the point of Category View? From Vista on, I've changed Control Panel to Small Icon View and save 1 to 3 clicks for everything I want to do. Your example here took you 2 clicks from the Control Panel to get where you wanted to go, where as Icon view would have been 1. Categorizing is fine, but not to the point of gross inefficiency.
