Simply not cutting it here...
I spent a good while trying to get used to the philosophies of Unity and GNOME 3, but, as a developer, I found its limited multitasking design crippled my efficiency. I found KDE 4.7 a bit ago and I haven't looked back.
I understand that different things work for different people, but it seems like this new design philosophy is all the rage now across platforms. I only hope KDE doesn't follow the same path. It's great to have change, so long as you maintain choice.
