Congratulations Himagain2! You'll be surprised at the amount of things you'll be able to do! But don't just install it and then go playing with stuff....be sure to sign up for the mailing lists that will keep you up-to-date on patches, bugfixes, upgrades, newer versions etc. Also try to "test run" a whole LOT of the many different versions of Linux, you might find that there's a certain distro that suits you even better than Ubuntu!
