Except
the law of "supply and demand" has been upended by companies abusing the H1B program, bringing in illegals to do the work and - after that extortion - lower others' wages in the proces... and even corporate CEOs have lied to congress about wages.
These are not examples of a "free market". There are many terms, but to try to call it "free market" is a real slap in the face. Especially as politicians fight to continue to give corporations that offshore taxpayer-funded subsidy (on top of the usual corporate welfare). Since when does a free market need any government to prop it up? Never. The private market dictates terms. (in short, the market manipulators are dictating terms... 'free market' is increasingly an illusion shrouded in obfuscation...)
