I guess Apple is following the way of Detroit. Make them and they (meaning a stupid public) will buy it. After seeing the retina display, I was salivating, but what? No 17". I went to interject some feedback to find that there is no place on their website to give feedback.

Between the loss of screen real estate and glued-in batteries, this one is a looser for me. Sad I can't tell Apple that. I guess I could go and whine at the store, but that won't go anywhere with fanboys/girls.

Another thought, was this line being designed before Jobs passed?
