why can't i open my esata Hard Drive from bitlocker

Hi
I want to know if any one can help me as i have reformated my hard drive by mistake with fat32 and now i can not get into as i am try to recover my lost files on it can any one help.
also when i try to open the hard drive it keeps turning my hard drive off
