Well said Alan, and well justified. I too choose not to indulge in social networking, in any of its intrusive forms. The ignorance of the general public to how information is "mined" is phenomenol. Virtually no one reads the EULA, or understands whose hands their personal information and communications can end up in. The blind faith that the "Sheeple" place in these corporate entities to "do the right thing" in handling their data is misguided, and illustrates clearly the misunderstanding of the power of knowledge. To anyone that would doubt this, I suggest you research Julian Assange, and what he has done with sensitive information he managed to aquire...
