Mainly because they treat users like milking cows. Actually I am wrong, cows do get some respect. I use other social networks though, but I keep an eye on their policy and I am ready to drop out at first sign they do something I personally find offensive. Competition is good. Is good to have more than 2 options out there (Facebook and Twitter)
