How difficult is it to create Category folders for the different types of apps (Office, Games, System Utilities, Media, etc.) and drop aliases (shortcuts) into those and have those folders in the task bar? Mouse onto a category, scroll up to the app you want to use. No searching and possible one-click launching. Faster, simpler and more organized.
