Clearity is what is important.
No one is confused by exclamations like "Yes! Yes! Yes!" or "No! No! No!". If we want to object to certain contructs we need to find reasons that don't contradict common sense. If the objection is that a phrase is confusing, there ought to be some sense that someone wouldn't understand.
