Linux desktop doesn't do business
I m a consultant and have been using linux for 6 yrs now.
I occasionally get outlook meeting invites, and
they come through on thunderbird as total gibberish.
I have to ask them to send a plain english invite.
Also, Go To Meeting has this shared desktop thing that
they do not support for linux.
Occasional but embarrassing.
Even so, these issues will never turn me back to M$!
I m a techie and can handle it, but
the rest of the world isnt so perseverant.
Heck, i cant even convince my techie buds to give linux a try.
Every body is just sooo timid.
Theres a huge fear factor and inertia happening!
I may be alone with linux, but
i am proud to have made the switch!
I tell the rest that
we have a substitute for when M$ buys the farm.
Flame? Woah!
