Though personally I do not see a wide adoption of 8 on the Desktop I can see a lot of Higher Management buying Windows Phones when 8 comes out and quite a few tablets so that they have the Newest Brightest Shiny Toys and in those applications I think 8 will be a success.

On the Desktop however I see a completely different story happening and personally I only see 8 as a Mobile Platform as it currently stands in the enterprise at least.
