MS Might be Right
Some iPad users are relying upon RDP, VDI, etc. to get to a Windows based solution for their traditional office needs that are not currently met by iPads. Further I cannot count the number iPad users that I have come across that have their iPads in a folio containing an external keyboard (seems like a really lightweight somewhat hamstrung laptop at that point). In some cases it is absolutely ludicrous in that the iPad user uses their iPad for email and note taking while in meetings, and then when they return to their cubicle/office they hop on their Windows based solution. If MS can provide the right hardware and software combo, with decent performance (please no Atom like performance) they just might be able to do what Dell and others have tried to do with their Windows solutions and failed... Time will time.
