Ipad & Iphone too rigid
I have Kindle Fire and enjoy reading at night to help me fall asleep.
I heard on Leo Laporte that the Ipad and Iphone have batteries soldiered to their motherboards and therefore the user is limited to the number of hours that 1 battery allows.

But, I am really interested in the Windows 8 portable desktop approach and am frustrated with Kindle Fire's software keypad. I want to enter notes from my easy chair and not have to go over to my desktop sometimes. The software, onscreen, keyboard is way too awkard.

I either want a real keyboard or I hear that Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12 Premium allows me to dictate voice-to-text through my portable tablet without using a keyboard. That would be optimal!

I appreciate the analysis of computer topics!
