We are getting tablet and cell phone, iphone crazy! There is no doubt Win 8 has removed some important conveniences. The task bar with start is essential for quick desktop navigating. Not all will be touch based. Removing the start button and all programs and quick search to device manager etc. is a major drawback. This is like insisting only a touch pad can be used for navigation! Slow slow slow. The upgrade means no more Entertainment Centre. If you use it then another big loss.
