Caving to the Lowest Common Denominator again?
I dislike the USB port design. So I guess I'm critical.
Putting a 3 in place of a 2 is not much of a big deal unless the chips for the port are taking away space from something else.

And it's about time they had USB 3 ports. Mine has had them for 2.5 years already.
Question is why is apple including 2 Thunderbolt ports and just 2 USB 3 ports? I don't know anyone who has a Thunderbolt device - let alone 2. Meanwhile, I can fill up 2 USB ports quite fast [such as a portable USB storage drive for the lack of disk space on a Mac Book, printer, USB headphones, ...].
