Seems like an impressive start on a very basic web-based project planning tool. It has some reasonable functionality around collaboration, at least to the point where people can see what they are responsible for and how their tasks are related to others' tasks.
It would be great if it supported views/printouts by resource so people could easily see the work they are responsible for between two dates without having to sort through a lengthy plan.
A task view/report by person for a range of dates might be nice so people can see the tasks they own, then subsequently enter time against those tasks. Remaining Work is missing, an important item for rescheduling, and as mentioned in the article above, there is no baselining functionality. There are quite a few things missing, like the ability to reschedule incomplete tasks after the entry of actual hours (or %complete) and remaining work.
A good attempt for a first release, but you'll still need MS Project on your desktop. Keep at it!

I had this site reviewed by my Corporate IT Security team and there was a number of issues that they raised. While I like the concept and idea, I would be very uncomfortable utilizing this for our tool.
Many of the issues are surrounding thier "Terms of Service", such as -
a. - Any content shared to others may be accessible through the internet and may be crawled and indexed by search engines
b. - Gantter.com is still in development and terms may change once Gantter publishes this application as a production release.
c. - Gantter and its affiliates (affiliate list not disclosed) may share your personal information with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy
d. - We also use personal information to help us develop, deliver, and improve our products, services, content, and advertising
e. - When you share your projects Gantter may collect the information you provide about those people such as name and email address
f. - We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose
g. - We may collect project schedule types, templates used, task data, task duration information
If you are willing to accept these risks, then a good tool.
Just some food for thought.
