Honestly, I cant help but recommend this software program for Windows.

And it's also available for Mac and Linux.

Since FocusWriter is open-source, naturally the software is available for free...

Actually, there is no requirement that open-source software be available at no charge, though often that is the case. The major requirement is that the source code is available to the user.

If you like it, donate to the download website so he can buy more pizza. The fellow is using his time to provide this so we can use it. (Yes, I donated.)

I know there are instances where some developers charge for compiled binaries, yet allow access to the source for free as well. Though I must admit this is rather rare in general.

Donations are good and I would definitely support the author for his work.
