I can get everything I need except the ammo at Ace Hardware to make a gun. In one third-world country I visit regularly, that has strict gun laws, over half the guns picked up are hand made - pistols, shotguns, etc. They're not very pretty, but they are just as deadly as their manufactured cousins.
