...As anyone who had a green-screen Palm V, or a "Gen-1" Ipod can remember, all those gadgets came full of glue, with parts joined by tiny sheets of adhesive paper, or both. (and I'm talking 10 years or more ago) Besides, at least you have tiny connectors, many gadget makers simply solder cabling directly, skipping the expense of using connectors altogether...
