Good enough is good enough is a better lessen than struggle bringing out the best in people. The one lesson is applicable to life yesterday, today and tomorrow. The other is diluted and it something you see, not something can use. Know what I mean?

I won't be needing it to not touch this one. Wally either has stones the size of a bantha or is dumber than a tribble for tackling this topic.

Okay, Trek. Even repeated viewings of 'Spock's Brain' beat 30 seconds of Jar-Jar Binks.
Star Trek shows that man can be moral without the need to go into religious mumbo-jumbo. Which caused the problems in Star Wars and for us now and throughout most of history. Star Trek shows that the problems of humanity can be overcome via our intellect and science. But Star Trek always celebrated the arts, it was not cold.
Star Trek gave us nothing where as Star Wars gave us

Industrial Light & Magic they make some really cool effects the greatest CG Software ever made. What did Star Trek give us some sparkley stuff in a glass of water being stirred as a Special Effect?

From EFFECTS Star Wars has to be better it was properly made instead of just a thrown together product that was hard to believe. After all who would contemplate Hand Held Communication Devices?

Col I just love to stir the pot. silly

And just
HAL 9000 17th Aug
How believable where they then?

After all who would want a Flip Communicator or need to touch the screen on their computer?

And in Hitch Hikers Guide to the Universe they bundled all of the Telephone Sanitizers read that as those who cleaned Smart Phone Touch Screens and sent them crashing into Earth. Because they where not cleaver enough to actually pilot a space ship.

Seems that the more things change the more that they stay the same now who's going to clean my iPhone Screen? [maniacal laughter]

...you know, just so people know what it is they are about to watch. Now Blakes 7 combines the themes of Star Wars and the shonky effects of Star Trek and manages to be more entertaining than either.

Blakes 7 was an excellent series (some episodes were stinkers though).

Imagine what it could have been like, if they'd had the budget of the original BSG.
Otherwise Blake's 7 was brilliant. wink
