Report Offensive Message

I did not disable smartscreen filter on my PC running W8 RP but it took me a while to figure out what it was when it first appeared and blocked a program I had downloaded. I clicked on "more info" and the options to save or discard the program appeared, but there was no previous warning screen asking if I was sure if I wanted to proceed...which I found somewhat surprising. I do think it is a good idea though...and it adds an extra layer of protection against possible malicious programs...I hope the database expands, and the feature is refined a bit more when the final release of Windows 8 arrives.
