Not as a Device (but then again maybe, as I hear they are working on Surface 2 right now), but it's battery life. Key interface components are sometimes dropped as they suck the battery life out of the device. The USB spec is all about Sending up to 500 mA (during config process) and then it's obligated to send 50 mA once the device is configured.
