as I always have. BYOD should be ONLY for those cases where I want something different to what the corporation uses, that's my choice; it should not be something the corporation decides I have to provide.

If I use my car for work I get paid mileage, but if I don't have a car and you want me to drive somewhere, you need to provide it. Same with anything else, if you insist I have it, it's up to you to make it available.

As for being a team player, every organised sports team I've ever played on, the team management provided the uniform that identified me as one of the team.
