News Sites: WHY add misinformation to a desktop? you like to be brainwashed? you can't think for yourself?
Mail services: who needs ALL of those? 99% overhead
Social Networks: thats for stupid people who waste time and money to be spy'ed on themselves
Games: nice for children but ... is it a toy or a desktop????
Please bring back a decent GNOMEbuntu (like ubuntu gnome-shell remix) to a REAL desktop withouth all the bling/social/game stuff and migrate the unity diaper-ware to toddler-buntu
I moved from Win7 to Ubuntu several years ago and until unity all was great, though unity gave me SERIOUS doubts. moving to Unity AND dropping GNOME2 is the biggest COMBINED mistake Ubuntu has made. When doing a bold thingg like that AT LEAST keep the most used option ALIVE atleast until the new thing is out of its diapers. Unity is NOT ready for everyday use. It is just a a toddler learning to stand up-right.
And yes time to move on..
