The thing is, why force the **** by default into an OS, it's JUST AN OS
OS= Operating System
but all that mainstream 'news/fear' is NOT Operating it's more like a brainwash...
Mainstream news is not really news. it is biassed 'stuff' And biassed stuff should not be on any desktop by default.

Sure everyone should be free to add it to the desktop. But it should not be forced on there.

In other words don't put it on there by default and 'let people at least choose what brainwash program they want' (IF they want it.)

In windows it was always spending days to reconfigure until it was usable, and in this UnityBuntu it is going to look like the next upgrade we need to reserve several days to make it usable AND remove the brainwash program.
If this is the route Ubuntu takes then the Human aspect of 'UBUNTU' (does anyone remember the meaning of the word?) is LOST.

I'm all for Ubuntu, but they really need to rethink their self proclaimed 'humanity'.

It should not be my task to filter and ignore all the 'spam' they throw at me.
It's up to me to point and click the stuff I do want WHEN I want it, and until then don't bother me wit ANY news. News is not progression. It's only news..
News is filtered stuff by biassed people why attach their ego to 'something' that makes them feel important. If you realise that the next time you read 'news' then you might be able to feel your perception of 'news' change.

It's one way traffic, they decide what you 'want to know'

Ok I can't filter, and you can't think for yourself. Is that what you wanted to hear?
