user friendly in what way?
If Unity is user friendly or not is another thing then if Ubuntu is user friendly
Unity is a personal thing
But when Ubuntu makes a big change without giving the users a good option to stay up to date with a workable desktop. that's NOT user friendly. That is forcing something that shouldn't be forced.
Starting an application in unity is for most people not a problem, but multistasking between apps is not intuitive in Unity.
And besides all this, i don't see the problem in copying Apple (or Microsoft), they are the ones who started to copy EVERYTHING they wanted to have. And never improved things, they only put on some make-up and never fixed anything that should be fixed. So just don't copy the code..
An Ubuntu killer I can't see either, but Ubuntu amputating parts of itself that's almost suicide...
