Report Offensive Message

While I understand the need for hardware (physical) patents, I still am a firm believer that software patents should not be allowed. Now just a "look and feel" is all that is needed to violate a patent. Let's just award Compton's New Media their 1993 patent that covered using multimedia on a CD-ROM that was repealed after public outcry. In fact, let's make it so that no one can compete with anyone on any level of software. When that happens I think I will stop using computers. I mean isn't that the point of copyrighting software??? --feeling annoyed
