If there is a majopr switch to Mobile then we shall all be facing difficulties in communicating. As now, if I am using my Land Line and the other party is using a Monile we fight all the way through the conversation, "I did not hear that, can you please repeat, ad nauseum the call ofen gets terminated"

As for desktop PCs.I work from home and use all the facilities in my Desktop. My eyesight would not let me use a tiny smartphone and have to migrate text messages to my Desktop most of the time. How do I do CAD on a SmartPhone, anything reasonably graphical, and so on, I doubt that many smartPhones can handle MathCad and Mathematica either ( yes I know that there are iPhone apps for Mathematica, but only, I understand at the lowest level!
These are just a few of the things that I do every day which , in my view, cannot be handled on a smart( Android) style phone.
