Windows Server 2012? I just started making plans to transition from Windows Server 2003 to 2008!
There is HUGE improvements in 2012 over earlier versions. I would upgrade directly to it without hesitating.
Of course it requires some time to get used to different UI, and learn how to USE those new features.
IMHO easier to configure DirectAccess is worth of it alone.

Hi, when the 2012 certification exam wil become production? I am new in Microsoft Certification
"MCSA and MCSE certifications remain ways by which IT pros can demonstrate their knowledge to potential employers and increase their skills in the market."
Weird but true. These days employers ask for certification only. Certification can be passed by going through test exams and many are doing that.
Anyway, I was still planning to take Windows Server 2008 certification and now we have Server 2012. Good luck !

No one asks about certifications, at least not in Finland.
It's all about work experience, that's what they repeat time after time. I don't get even in to interviews and I have MCSE (2003) and MCITP: Enterprise Administrator certifications.
Point is that they don't trust certifications because of braindumps, and any unemployed guy who has certs is suspicious.
So, even if I have work experience and I am praised by my Win Server and especially Active Directory skills, I stay unemployed. And I also feel that it has no matter how much I study, nothing changes.
What comes to certifications, I feel like I've been cheated. Certification were supposeed to be THE THING with I can prove my expertise. Lot's Of Laughs.

I thought microsoft went to an MCITP format? I have the following certs MCITP: Enterprise Admin, MCITP: Window 7 Admin, MCITP: Server Admin.....
I think I should only have to take the one exam too. I am correct in this?

New MCSA/MCSE are totally different thing as old Win2000-2003 MCSA/MCSE. Now those last letters mean Associate / Expert instead older Administrator / Engineer.
I think you should know it if you have had so much effort that you have achieved all those MCITP:s.
But I agree you on that it IS confusing. Try to explain that to your chief who is not very familiar about certifications, or in some job interview...
Like I am probably going to get new MCSE while I already have old MCSE.
My CV is gonna look like copy paste error! :P
