You Never get to the right link on this site. its such a tease.

Why are you doing this? The Blog post has more information, the appropriate links and is all in one page for easy reading. The slideshow seems like a waste of time compared to the blog post.

But not for you. It's so that TR can do you a favor and refresh the adds on the right side of your screen. More clicks, more adds, more click-throughs and more money for them. Pretty simple stuff.

Dude. Chill. I wouldn't be aware of this information if I didn't get an email. I don't use a feed file. I think the author can do whatever he wants, it is his info.

If you read below the first slide, there is a sentence that reads, "NOTE: If you'd prefer to view this information as a blog post..." and it goes on to give the link to the blog post so that you don't have to view the slides.

I saw the link for the blog post, I clicked on the link for the blog post. I read the blog post. I enjoyed the blog post.

What advantage for the reader does the slideshow provide? My frustration in dealing with the slideshow is I see it as a total waste of time. But I'm me. There might be somebody who enjoys the slideshow, there might be somebody who prefers the slideshow over an easy to read blog post. Or there might be an advantage to the slideshow that I'm escapes me. What is the advantage to the slideshow?

It's costs money and time to publish in both formats. I want to know who are the people who prefer to read it as a slideshow.

The Blog Post came much latter after some people complained.

Slide show format is not only insulting but also inconvenient. Request that there is a link to the full post/article to allow folks with more than minimal reading skills to access the information.

Is it just me or do others find the gallery feature content as slow cumbersome and needlessly strenuous? Most times I just assume to pass over the content so I don't have to go through your NEXT, NEXT each time. Unlike others I have seen ON NON TECH SITES, your entire page reloads and is just annoying. I wouldn't say anything if it wasn't for the wonderful content your contributors provide but gee wiz get with a DHTML solution if not at least CSS2.

I know that ever since I started using a Word Processor things have been going downhill for me. What's worse it started off when my Secretary started using a Word processor with US Based Spooling.

Cannot agree more with Komplex. Why make things simple if one can make it complicated? I get a sore finger with all this clicking, and I tend to dismiss or skip all these slideshows.

As for the Sore Finger I must suggest a Good Doctor who can treat your RSI most likely be Amputation of the entire hand rather than just the finger.

I'm so tired of getting posts from TechRepublic about "free" apps that are not free. Most of the "free" apps pushed on here are trials and not exactly free. I wish TechRepublic would stop calling things "free" when in fact they aren't.
