... over common sense. I fully understand that not everybody can afford the best. That's why we have Chevrolets as well as Cadillacs; Panasonic as well as Technics. Apple understands it too by the simple fact that they do make the previous year's version of the iPhone and the iPad available for about $100 less and in the iPhone's case the second-year previous model for $200 less. Were I and my wife not bringing in the salary we do, I'd be using Apple refurbs and the year-old model iPhones because I trust the products to bring value for their price, even though I couldn't pay full price.

It is MORE than just a phone, after all.
