What suit?
Maybe it's because I don't watch the news, or maybe just because it was Apple, but I honestly don't know any details about the suit. I had heard something about a patent suit a while ago, but never gave it a second thought. I can't say that I favour Samsung, apart from the fact that they're not Apple. I know marketing is all about convincing people to buy something they didn't even know existed five minutes earlier, but Apple has taken the idea of selling people things they don't need to a whole new level. First they convince you that you can't live without it, and then they sell it to you for twice (or more) what it's worth. My brother bought a MacBook that can't do anything more than my HP can, and it cost him six times as much. I find it's far too easy - and common - for marketing departments to be downright evil, and Apple is a fine example, so I don't let them sway me, either. And I AM American.
