Tell us that in 5 years when you've replaced yours...
at least twice while his is still running strong. The simple fact that yours was--as you claim--1/6th the price tells ME that you bought a piece of junk guaranteed to fail within 2 years. Maybe I'm wrong, but the average life-span of low-cost computers is abysmal. That's why the enterprise replaces theirs on a 2-3 year cycle whether they're working or not. (Obviously they replace them sooner if they're not working. It's usually not worth the expense to pay someone to do more than re-image the hard drive.)
