Hi there.....

Will not happen as expected......
There is simply too much risk for any company to have their data in hands of someone else...
There are privacy concerns, security concerns and data availability concerns: What happens if the Service Provider fails to deliver or goes bankrupt ??? How can I continue my operations with no data (or at least up to date data) ???

I don't know. It's a smart move to benchmark and follow good practices for sure, especially if your current net profit doesn't allow integrating of cloud technologies.
