If you want to survey your own community to determine if they think Google is "best in class, you should also be providing them some valuable information when they are done.

Ask "What mapping tool do you use most often?" and follow up with "WHY?" Only Google should be asking the yes/no question you asked since they are hoping to be able to say "most users..." or "75% of users surveyed...". If you ask it and the dominant answer is "No," the only thing the Goolge users get out of the survey is that most people prefer something else - they don't get to know what the prefered solution is.

Your readers want to know what everyone else is using so they can see what others think is the "best in class".
