This is, and HAS been one of the long-standing issues in outsourcing that in the end COST companies far more money than they save. Especially with all of the 'SLA' worries. When you take the time constraints enforced by some pretty idiotic SLA's, and the fact that many (no not all) of the Indians outsourced to do NOT know the English (or other non Indian-dialect) language well, much less the skills they SHOULD have... The SLA rates plummet and cost the company tons of money in payouts for failure to keep the SLA's up. This has been rampant for years.
That people patently 'fluff' their resumes with BS has also been rampant for years, and why managers would think that people in other countries wouldn't do it is beyond me.
