This site is kind of a deal aggregator as instead of making their own deals they simply search the internet for deals and post links to them along with any discount codes they find.
I have kicked myself a few times when I have made a purchase only to find it later than day with a discount code on Dealnews.

Tried to check out appsumo. I will not join via FB or give anyone my email. All I want to do is look and see if it is relevant for my work. I hate all the required links to FB showing up anyway. I suspect companies using this business model will have more worthless email accounts than real ones. I just wanted more information........ sheesh!
Already tried rapidbuyr, not the best site, often can beat their prices and always their limited selection. I need to save on shipping, so I am more likely to buy from one source than several.

Sometimes, you have to "hunt" for the real deal by navigating between these sites. Each site however is unique and offers a deal you cannot find anywhere else. AppSumo is particularly popular for software deals.
A deal doesn't mean that it truly is a deal just being it is advertised.
For the most part, daily deal websites can save you good number of money. Just be sure you know exactly what you're buying, how much it would cost otherwise, and that you can use it before it expires. Always be sure you purchase deals for items that you would otherwise buy. If you get into the habit of making impulse purchases on items you don't really want or need, you could find yourself rapidly falling into debt. why don't you create a simple business site and check it out ....
